This week was a lot busier as well as more important, this was because I had to whitebox my entire scene. I was struggling to visualise what I wanted it to look like, one of my ideas was a massive island, held in the sky by an air balloon. This idea didn't work as well as it would require making the outside of the circus which would make me spend a lot of extra time working on not as important areas. My second idea was to build the environment as an extension of a mountain, the main goal for this idea was to make a rotatable platform that the player had no part inside, but instead was an observer who could manipulate the platform in various ways as if it were an ornament such as a snowglobe. The problem with my second idea was that I it difficult to illustrate the 360° ornament whilst maintaining a professionally artistic standard.

The final idea, which I decided to go with; was a closed off, small environment set in a moody twilight, this would give emphasis on showing off my assets because I consider asset conception and creation one of my greatest strengths. On top of whiteboxing in UE4, I took screenshots and did multiple paintovers of the white boxed area.
