Now that I've started to model the most common assets that I will be using to populate the environment, I can begin to unwrap them. I decided to leave texturing until later so that I can easily combine the textures, minimising the effect on performance and make sure I don't waste time texturing something I won't end up using.
After unwrapping I immediately imported all the models into UE4 so I can build up the level. I ended up creating a pathway which helped me visualise how I can confine the space the player can walk around in.
My final task was to revisit all the models I have done previously just to fix little mistakes and make small improvements where I thought it was necessary
